Being outdoors affects the way we learn, feel and behave. Whole areas of the brain ‘light up’ when we interact with nature, even if it’s just a walk in the park!’

A research study at Stanford University found that walking in nature changes the brain: it was reported that the results of the study strongly suggest that getting out into natural environments could be an easy and almost immediate way to improve mood.
